Sid: Okay, but two weeks before you received a supernatural prayer. Tell me about that.
Dave: Well, we met Randy Clark for the first time, he’s a friend of one of my pastor friends in the city and Randy had prayed for me with our friends, and as he was leaving to pray, he said I feel to pray for your mid section. And he held his hand above the mid section of my body and he just prayed that God would set things in order and that healing would come there. Again, it didn’t make sense at the time but we felt that God was doing something. So I had no idea until later that something was going on in my abdominal area. One of the little old ladies from our church came into my room and she said David I don’t know what this mean but; I want to tell you that the Lord is a shield round about you and your going to discover what this means. Well I lived for six and half weeks with a burst appendix.
Sid: They must have wondered how you lived. All the poisons are going in your body.
Dave: And then they said we are testing your blood. They tested my blood every day to see when the levels would come up to an operable level and it took six and half weeks for that to happen. And so at that point they said we are going to do some exploratory surgery to see what is going on inside. What damage was done by the poison. And so they did that and I woke up from the operation. The doctor came in and said I just saw a miracle. He said, your appendix was encased in a pod like a pouch of skin made of scar tissues. There was scar tissue all around your burst appendix. It looked like it had been in place several weeks before your appendix burst and all of the poison from that burst appendix was contained in that pod and I asked the doctor what did the pod look like? And he said, that’s the funny thing. It looked like shields.
Sid: Isn’t that exactly what the women prophesied to you?
Dave: It was the same word.
Sid: What did she say? Tell me again what she said.
Dave: She said that you will see that the Lord is a shield round about you.
Sid: A…Do you know what I am reminded of when you told God you were surprised and what did God say back to you?
Dave: I’m not shocked.
Sid: Ha ha, you said I’m shocked and God said I’m not shocked.
Dave: Not shocked.
Sid: You know as you look backward, you see that God had it all under control, all that needless worry.
Dave: Yea, really, really.
Sid: And you know we are talking to people right now. Their going through this hell on earth, whether it is through marital situation, financial situation, a sickness situation. Just plain depression, disappointment and many are even feeling like they want to give up. I want you to know that this is truth now. God is not a respecter of persons. What he has done for Dave Hess He wants to do for you. He wants to do it more than you want him to do it. But, am I right Dave?
Dave: That’s for sure.
