Sid: We are coming to together as one new species of being and when these two people groups of God truly become one Paul says it is the full dwelling place of God in the Spirit. That’s why it’s so important at this precise moment in history where God is removing the spiritual scales from the eyes of Jewish people and it actually says in Romans 11:11 “Salvation has come to the Gentile to provoke the Jews to jealousy. It’s as if the job was of the Jew was to reach the Gentile. The job the Gentile is now to reach the Jew and the job of the One New Man, the Jew and the Gentile merge together as one new humanity is to reach the world. And you need the fire of God to reach the world and that’s why my guest all this week is Nathan Morris, the young evangelist out at the Mobile, Alabama revival. It’s called “The Revival of “The Bay of the Holy Spirit” and the pastor is Pastor John Kilpatrick and lightning has literally struck a second time. And I want you to find out how Nathan goes from Great Britain to Africa and has these great campaigns where thousands are coming to the Lord and great miracles are happening ends up in Mobile Alabama. You got a call from Pastor Kilpatrick inviting you to come to a conference. Did you immediately decide to go to that conference Nathan?
Nathan: Well, Sid I was very much surprised by the phone call from Pastor John Kilpatrick. My mother and father had actually visited Brownsville in 1997 and been greatly impacted by the revival out there. So I was kind of focused on what we do at campaigns in Africa and India and around the world. But when I received a phone call from Pastor John I immediately knew that the Lord was opening a door where I was very surprised but I almost knew instantaneously that I knew God was up to something and I began to pray and that’s when I saw the vision of a great crimson tide. What I call a crimson tide, a wave of God’s glory was about to visit. I had no idea that I would be part of it that I would have the great privilege of preaching in it. But I knew that I was going to deliver a message, a message that God was going to visit Pastor Kilpatrick and the church there in Mobile a second time.
Sid: Now, you actually had a text message about this “Crimson Tide” tell me about it.
Nathan: Well, I’m a British guy as you well know, and we are soccer fans. We don’t really watch what you call football but I have a text from a friend who is actually based in the UK but he was an American citizen and he sent me a text and he said the Crimson Tide has won the national championship. Now when I first got the text I’d not spoken to Pastor John and it was the same day that Pastor John was going to call me and I got this text Sid and I thought why is he sending me this? I’m not interested in football, you know, I thought he made a mistake, but I got on the phone with Pastor John and the first words he said to me he said “Did you know that the Crimson tide football team has won the national championship, he said.
Sid: The Alabama University team.
Nathan: You hear in the newspaper is “The Glory Returns to Alabama” and I knew, I knew, thought Jesus what are you up to? You’re about to do something.
Sid: Then you had a vision where you literally saw Pastor John Kilpatrick, tell me about that.
Nathan: Well, I went into prayer because I knew that the Lord was speaking to me. And I’ve very few visions the only visions that I have ever seen were of the campaign in Africa and India when I first came to the Lord. I began with the encounters with God and the Holy Spirit would show me about oceans of people. I had very few visions but I was about to have one of the most powerful visions up there with anything I had ever seen and I saw Pastor John on his knees and he was in the altar of a church. I didn’t know which church it was. But he was in the altar and he was crying out “Jesus let Your righteousness be established in this land. Jesus let your righteous be established in this land. And there was multitude behind him. He had no idea that they were there but I knew that these people had gone to be with the Lord and they were the prayers that had gone on before him. Pastor John did not realize that he was joining with the same prayer that was being prayed long before and suddenly behind him, Pastor John didn’t even see it, but there was a tidal wave. It was crimson red in color and it crashed into the church and it blew the walls out from the church and this perplexed me. I didn’t… I was shocked it blew the walls of the church clean out. And suddenly I was taken around the front and I saw an army Sid. An army, a multitude and they were dressed in robes and they were stained in crimson red, the blood of Jesus Christ and the Lord said tell Pastor John I will visit him again and this time I will raise up an army that will preach the blood of Jesus Christ. They will preach the true gospel around the world and that was the message that I came to deliver and it was as I was delivering that message that the Glory of God broke out.
Sid: Now tell me what happened at that meeting.
Nathan: In that meeting I was literally preaching and suddenly I felt something and I hope you realize I’m a very kind of normal guy. I’m a straight shooting guy, we come from very kind of place…we are very kind of we don’t believe in hype. I want the real, I want the genuine; I love Jesus, I don’t want any hype. For what I’m about to tell you is the truth. As I was preaching and sharing this message I felt something brush pass me behind me. I felt something just brush behind me and as I stood on my heels and I did the worship leader and the worship team that just stood there and fell out under the power of God. And suddenly the Glory of God came like a Kabod; like a weighty presence of God just fell in the place and I literally couldn’t stand and I just fell to my face. And Pastor John he suddenly got up and he said that this is like Father’s Day 1995. People people, God is moving right now and it was from that moment that, I was supposed to be in Hawaii. I was supposed to be flying to preach at a brother church, a big church in Hawaii and I was going on to the campaigns. We got stadiums booked but Pastor John looked at me and the glory of God was so thick and he said to me you need to stay. Will you stay? And do you know that night we had reports of deaf ears opening, people with detached retinas began to see and miracles just broke out and from there we knew that it was God was about to move.
Sid: Now just out of curiosity, you don’t know this but, oh you do know this part that I’m friends with Pastor John Kilpatrick and he told me something about you confidentially. He said that he is really very impressed about how you handle the power that is released in your ministry in such humility. As an evangelist we’re not use to evangelists walking in humility. How do you stay that way?
Nathan: You stay that way by never forgetting where you come from and when you never forget where you come from you realize that the place that you’re in only God can take you there. And you know, I came from a small church from a very kind of, were from a mining village and our people are very very straight people and I never forget where I come from Sid, because only Jesus can take a guy who was lost in sin, lost in all the world and take him and cause him to speak in front of many people. Sid, every time I’m there I know that without the Holy Spirit, without the anointing of God I am nothing.
Sid: Do you know what you sound like right now? Those were the similar words that I heard Katherine Kaufman speak. She would always give the credit to God. You know that what it reminds me of when I’m hearing you say that.
Nathan: When I walk to the pulpit I call this walk from my seat when I come from behind the stage and I walk to the pulpit I always bow my knee and say Jesus just one more time. Lord just let me walk under that mantle just one more time. Because you know, I call it the walk of death. When I’m walking towards that pulpit I realize, you see in the scriptures David said, He said David go, he went before the Lord, he said, David said, who am I that you have promised me greatness and yet you know your servant. You know my failures you know my weakness you know that I don’t deserve this but yet Jesus, because of your blood we can come boldly before the throne of grace. And I feel like I’m speaking to people right now, that you feel like you have let the Lord down and you feel like you’ve failed and you’ve allowed Satan to put seeds in your mind. And I want to tell those people right now, Jesus blood washes you and cleanses you. It is not because of you, it’s not because you earn it. Just walk in the Grace that the blood of Jesus has was bought for every believer that we can walk boldly into the Throne of Grace, not with pride but with humility that says Jesus it’s not because of me it is all because of you.
Sid: Nathan, I believe that people that listening to us right now, if they were to get the DVD of the meeting that I went to. When you spoke about the “Fire of God” and you prayed for so many people to receive the “Fire of God” including myself, and some people I believe felt the same “Fire of God” that you felt. Other people, like me, I don’t know, in fact my producer was with me for the television show and he said to me “Do you know how long you laid on the floor just shaking under the power of God?” And I can see people all over the world getting this DVD, laying down on the floor and every time you say “Fire” a new anointing, wave upon wave is going to come into them.
