Sid: We want everyone everywhere to be red hot for the Messiah. Now I called a friend of mine on the telephone on another matter a few days ago is Rick Joyner. And he said to me he had just had a dream. It was the most serious alarming dream he had ever had. It was the most specific dream he had ever had. It was the most graphic dream he had ever had. It was the most real dream he had ever had. Many of us are familiar with the dreams that God gives Rick Joyner. His bestselling book “The Final Quest” was based on a series of dreams. But Rick, you were at a place that I have been at many times Moravian Falls; and the thing that I love about Moravian Falls is to me it is one of the Open Heaven places I’ve personally been and a number of my guests had reported that. Tell me the circumstances. Why were you up there and tell me about this dream?
Rick: Well, we have a retreat center up there, and you know cabins and guest houses and I go up there, I’m trying to go up there two weeks a month now to get away and seek the Lord and to write and you know it’s been a very special place of visitations and yea, there is a special anointing up there. There is an open Heaven up there like no other place I have ever been. So you know we own property up there for I guess fifteen years or longer than that actually. But, so it’s where you know we say Heritage is where we meet with people but Moravian Falls is where we meet with God.
Sid: And by the way, I’m speaking with Rick Joyner from his office in Fort Mill, South Carolina and he has totally renovated the old Heritage and it’s so good that that being used for God. But tell me about this dream. And so you’re up there seeking God and I don’t believe in a million years you thought you would have a dream such as this. Rick: Well, you know it a… what it was I was walking through a log cabin with some people in the dream and every room that we went through we toured was a different part of America. And it’s like this log cabin was America if you could imagine that in a dream but and a…
Sid: I can picture that symbolism, sure.
Rick: Yeah, that’s what it was and I think it did relate to Lincoln’s house somehow but I won’t get into that now, but every room was a different part of America both geographically and culturally and industrial and everything. I mean it was like different parts of America and I was looking at all of it when little fires kept breaking out in every room. And just little ones on the floor and we would just stomp them out and go on it started to really bother me about these fires but people I was with were just acting like no big deal. But they were in my opinion way to nonchalant about these little fires. And finally we started go outside of the log cabin to the yard that was in the dream a military base and there was a fire that broke out right beside our path while we were walking. So I just went over to stomp it out and I notice it had burned right through the floor and the subfloor. So I got down and looked to see what was under it, you know under the foundation and the entire foundation of the house was on fire. I mean, seriously it was all hot burning coals and…
Sid: You know, if the foundation was destroyed there’s no way the walls and roof can survive.
Rick: Yea, they were on fire I mean were about, the whole house as about to go up. You know if a fireman ever saw something like that he would run for his life there. It’s too late. Well, I started…
Sid: Did you, in this dream out of curiosity did you feel that you were actually experiencing this; that you were really in it? Were you fearful were you concerned?
Rick: Well, in the dream it was a very real experience it was so real I remember it as if it was a real experience. It was that graphic and that real and in the dream when I saw the foundation on fire like that it immediately started to run and I started to just go to little side room and grab my computer and my laptop; because it has everything on it you know. And I heard the voice of the Lord, when I started to do that, He said you don’t have time for that. And then He said, get your wife and get the hose. And the dream ended and…
Sid: How long did it take you from the time of the dream till the time of interpretation? Was it instant or gradual?
Rick: Some things were pretty obvious to me. It really shook me up; when I woke up I was pretty shaken by it. It was just deeply troubling, but in an anointed way not a worry fearful way. It was like this really was imparted to me. We’ve got to do this and your wife, you know usually in dreams and visions wife or a woman would speak of the church and I knew that right away. I knew that, you know, our house is on fire. The foundations are being consumed right now. And the church, he said get your wife and get the hose. The church has the water, which in the place like Ephesians 5 represents the word of God. The truth that that is the only thing that can deal with this situation to put the fire out. And one thing to me it was, you know I resolved in my own heart a long time ago I’m never going to leave America. I hear people saying that America is going Communist, Socialist so I’m leaving; I’m not going to do that. I’ve resolved I’m not going to leave my country, you know. Whatever happens I’m suppose to be salt and light here, I’m staying. But in this dream I wanted to run because it was about to go up.
Sid: It was so horrific.
Rick: Yeah, but he said don’t have time for that. Grab the hose so, Washington is not going to be able to fix out problems. There beyond Washington right now. And I believe that if the church and the pulpits of America. The preachers of America, the prophetic voices don’t stand up and pour out the truth this whole house is about to be lost. And we’ve got to pour them on the foundations.
Sid: What do you consider the foundations?
Rick: Well, I consider the foundations would be the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the foundational principles, the form of government, the things that were given to us which I think we have really departed pretty far from.
Sid: What about some of the basic sin areas that the Bible is very clear on but it is not even politically correct to talk about the areas of homosexuality and marriage between a man and man or a woman and woman and abortion and not taking a stance toward Israel. And we could go on and on. To me that’s part of the foundations that are being destroyed also.
Rick: Oh, absolutely. You know the moral, the spiritual the governmental, it is the foundations but to me we got to apply the truth to them. The Word of God to them.
Sid: And I have to tell you, your video that you, the DVD that you put together with General Jerry Boykin; what he exposes, I mean he’s probably the one man in the world; he’s a Green Beret in Special Forces. And he studies Marxism, he is literally trained to detect socialism and what’s the bottom line he says about America?
Rick: Well, everything you know he was not only a Special Forces he commanded all US Special Forces.
Sid: Oh, I didn’t realize that.
Rick: Yeah, and he was also head over covert operations in CIA for three years. I mean he was probably for a period of time our number one counterterrorist authority in America. And they were highly trained. He was highly trained though as a young Green Beret and growing up he was one of the original Delta Force Members and he went on to command the Delta Force in some of its more famous operations like you know Mogadishu, the Black Hawk Down.
Sid: But what’s his bottom line conclusion about America right at this moment?
Rick: Well that we are in the biggest jeopardy that we’ve ever been in. We really are. There’s assaults from almost; you know it’s like a full court press against us right now. Morally, socially, Biblically…
Sid: But, what’s God showed you is the answer is not in getting the right people in political office. Would it be fair to say, it’s too late for that.
Rick: Well, I think that it’s not only too late I think that it’s never worked anyway. Now, I think that it’s important to be engaged politically and get the right people there. I think that that’s a very important thing. But it’s not the answer. The battle were fighting will never be won with elections. We’re not fighting against flesh and blood and elections just cannot do it. But they can do their part, that’s an important thing but it’s not the main thing.
Sid: What’s the main thing?
Rick: It’s the church rising up, first wakening, waking up.
