Sid: Hello. Sid Roth here with David Martin, and David is on this mountain. He’s receiving the peace anointing. This is an anointing that will help you overcome everything that could possibly ever come upon you. David, tell me about that experience.
David: Well the impartation came to me on the third day of meetings. I’m in the midst of 35,000 people and the power of God just hits me. And because of some things that were going on that I didn’t fully understand and people were writing things down in the Spirit, and I’m not sure about that. I’m questioning that. And I’m crying out to God, because I’ve been in Africa 19 times, seen a lot of voodoo and stuff like that. I’ve never seen people right in the Spirit. And as they’re doing that I’m questioning it. And I’m crying and saying, “Oh God, I’m concerned about this.” And then the Anointing hits me, incredible peace of God, tears are flowing down my face. But when the Anointing hit me, literally my tears shot out like two squirt guns. And when that happened, God said to me, “It’s me. Receive my peace.” And I’m saying, “God, I don’t understand it. You said resurrection anointing.” And He said, “That’s what this is.” And I said, “Help me understand.” And He took me to the story of the Shulamite woman that couldn’t have any children. And when this woman had a child supernaturally, the child’s maybe 12 years of age, has some come of farm accident, maybe heat stroke, the father brings the child in, and now she’s ministering to the child and the child dies. Puts him on the prophet’s bed, goes off to her husband and she says, “I need to see the man of God.” And the husband said, “How about the boy?” And her response is, this is what God showed me, “Shalom.” Peace. And it was that shalom, it was that peace, that prosperity that set the stage for the man of God to come, and the child was raised from the dead. And then God took me to Ephesians 5, where it says, “Awake thou that sleepest. Arise from the dead and I will cause you to shine.” And at that moment, God put all of it together, the shining one anointing with the resurrection anointing and, Sid, I believe this, the church is a sleeping giant and God is releasing anointing and knowledge of His Word to cause us to rise from the dead and shine for His glory.
Sid: Okay. What difference is it making in your life? You told me you are hearing God clearer than ever before.
David: Yes.
Sid: Tell me about that.
David: It’s a witness in your heart. It’s absolutely knowing the voice of God. These prophets would do nothing except what God said. We’ve gotten so caught up in just following the natural realm. God is saying to me, and this is what He’s showing me, that there’s a higher level of walking in the realm of the Spirit, and by this anointing, for me, it’s been more clearly hearing the voice of God. And equally significant though, is when something bad happens you’re not rattled. The peace of God guards your heart, guards your mind so that no matter what’s going on around you, you’re not moved.
Sid: You told me that your hands are starting to sweat.
David: They are.
Sid: And what that means is that the presence of God is getting stronger and stronger. What difference is it making in your life, these two anointings you’ve received?
David: Well very clearly the impartation that God gave me gives the ability to more clearly hear God’s voice, but over and above that.
Sid: Isn’t that what Jesus had? He only did what he saw his Heavenly Father doing.
David: Yes. Exactly right. That’s how we’re supposed to walk, and I believe that’s 30 years of my preparation is to do what Jesus did, to walk in that same level of anointing. And that’s what I’m seeing. I’m sensing that this anointing has also given me a supernatural peace, that supernatural peace when something bad happens. Like I was in a head-on car accident a couple of years ago. I should have been killed, but God gave me the supernatural peace. But one example I just thought of is I was in L.A., flying back from L.A. to Tulsa and American Airlines cancelled my flight. And instead of getting home now at noon, a direct flight, I’m going to be in the air for the next, or in the airport for the next seven or eight hours and get home late at night. But anyway, because of this peace guarding my heart I said, okay, all things work together for good. I don’t understand it. I’m not planning it. But God supernaturally orchestrated for me to sit next to a business man, heard about what we were doing, and the next day wires $25,000 to our ministry. Now I believe that without the peace I could have missed that because I’m walking in anger with American Airlines with frustration or fear.
Sid: It’s got to even affect your health. Just as the Africans lived into their hundreds, I mean, when you’re walking, let’s face it, most doctors say stress is the cause of most problems, physical problems people have. You can’t walk in stress if you want to when you’re in this peace
David: Well it’s always a choice. But an interesting point to this is what you said about stress. Well the parable of the sower, I believe is the key to all parables. The fruit that should have come out of the good soil didn’t because the cares of the world [unintelligible]. Now what happens is stress not only affects you physically, but it chokes the Word from producing fruit. And what’s happening, and I believe with this anointing, it really helps people do, myself for sure, is walk in the Word. The Word is not being choked. The Word is producing.
Sid: The hope of America, the hope of the world, your hope is walking in this kind of peace. Say, pray peace right now in that camera.
David: Father God, in the name of Jesus right now, this Anointing that’s on this set, we just release it by faith. Father, let your peace be made manifest to every hearer, every listener. Lord God, a supernatural peace impartation now for your glory. Amen.
