Sid: We want everyone everywhere walking in the same authority and power that the Messiah of Israel, Yeshua Jesus the Messiah walked in. Because He said, it doesn’t matter what I say, He said, “You will do the same works that I have done, and even greater.” Well, Jesus prayed for people that were blind, that were born blind and that was called, the Talmud tells us that was a Messianic Miracle. There are other miracles, but the Messiah would pray for blind people and they’d get their sight back that were born blind; no one had ever seen miracles like that before. And my guest, Chad Dedmon went on a fourteen month around the world adventure with his wife and he ended up in India. And you sure must have had plenty of people to pray for in India Chad.
Chad: Oh, it was amazing, it was a great place to go and release the supernatural. I mean we had all kinds of healings, probably around 300 healings a night!
Sid: Well, tell me about the man that was born with no eyeballs!
Chad: Yeah, he was a pastor that would just preach by Braille, he knew Mother Theresa. So he came up and said, “I need new eyeballs.” And so I looked at him and I said, “Well, do you really believe that Jesus could give you new eyes?” And he said, “Well, yeah I’m in the middle of a forty day fast right now to get breakthrough,” and he was seventy-six years old. And so me and a friend we began to pray for him, and he’d never even opened up his eyelids before you know, he would have to open up his eyelids through his finger. And so he showed us his eye and you know, it shot back and there was just no eyeballs there; and so we begin to pray and were praying about…
Sid: That must have been kind of gross to look at.
Chad: Yeah, there are some gross things that you see before Jesus shows up and so we’re praying for twenty minutes and suddenly he opens up his eyelids under his own strength and he is ecstatic; he is praising Jesus. And we are praise God because we just received breakthrough, you always focus on what God is doing, you don’t focus on what God is not doing. And so we begin to thank God and we begin to go into thanksgiving and praise and worship Him and we begin to continue to pray for him and suddenly he gets new eyeballs.
Sid: Now, let me ask you something, did you have enough faith to pray that he’d actually have new eyeballs? What exactly were you praying?
Chad: I was just praying the Kingdom of Heaven break in that the Kingdom of Heaven would invade his eyes, Jesus told us to pray, “On earth as it is in Heaven.” And so I like to get specific where I would be praying for a body part and I’ll say, “Okay, in their need as it is in Heaven or in this case in his eyes as it is in Heaven, that there is not a lack of eyeballs up in Heaven.” And so you’re praying for the Kingdom of Heaven for the Kings’ domain to come and invade and take residence in this man’s body. And so I was asking God to give him a creative miracle of new eyes.
Sid: So what happened? I’m on the edge of my seat.
Chad: So we just continued to pray, he opened up his eyelids and there are new eyes where he’s able to see figures, able to see figures, able to see how many fingers I’m holding up, but he’s not able to see far distances and he’s not able to see colors. And what was very interesting about this was that his eyes were blue, now he’s an Indian man and I don’t think I’ve ever met an Indian man with blue eyes they have always had brown eyes. And so we continue to pray for him because he wasn’t fully healed, he’s got new eyeballs, but he couldn’t see you know, color and he couldn’t see far away. So we prayed for another five minutes, he opens up his eyes again they turned from blue to brown and he had total restored vision. He was able to see far away; he was able to see color and we were weeping.
Sid: And he didn’t need glasses either.
Chad: No, he did not need glasses.
Sid: I mean the eyeballs coming from Heaven are twenty, twenty right?
Chad: Yes.
Sid: Ha ha ha.
Chad: And I was sharing this testimony later in the United States and a doctor said to me that “Chad when a baby is born, they will sometimes have blue eyes, but they’ll be colorblind and they wouldn’t be able to see far distances, but as they grow now as they mature their eyes will change colors and they will see color.” And so basically this man received baby eyes, he received a creative miracle where he received brand new eyes.
Sid: Chad, the presence of God is starting to increase do you have any leading as to why, what does God want done right now?
Chad: Well, the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy, and so it really means do it again, as you begin to share the testimony, it releases breakthrough for what happened yesterday, for what happened for this man in India; he could do for people that are listening in right now. And so Lord, we just release the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy. I pray Lord for those that have problems with their vision, I pray there is even somebody with a detached retina that’s listening and I pray that you would restore their eyes right now, that you’d release Your healing presence. Lord that you are the same yesterday, today and forever, and so we release that breakthrough we release your healing presence; touch people’s eyes right now.
Sid: One of the things that I really find fascinating about your Father Kevin and also you is that many times when you pray for someone and you don’t see results you ask God for wisdom and then they get healed. Give me an example of someone this happened to.
Chad: Yeah, sometimes you’ll be praying for healing and you don’t get any break though and so you begin to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you to give you keys. And a lot of times its unforgiveness where people need to forgive somebody and unforgiveness will actually release like disease and release affliction on different people.
Sid: You know what I tell people before I start praying? I tell them about getting rid of unforgiveness and most people have never had a clue that it’s a decision not a feeling. If it’s a feeling they may wait forever and never forgive; but if it’s a decision it’s easy.
Chad: Exactly, and so it’s so key that you would move in forgiveness and as you forgive those that have wronged you, it will release God’s healing presence to heal your heart, but also to heal your physical body. And so and then another thing is hope deferred, sometimes I will be ministering to somebody and they’ll have a spirit of hopelessness where actually hope deferred makes the heart sick and so they’ll be actual physical you know pain that from disappoint-ment, from disillusionment.
Sid: Well, how do they get rid of that disillusionment, that’s still there? What do you tell the person to do?
Chad: Where it says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire realized is the tree of life.” And so you will begin to move in the opposite spirit, where you will begin to speak hope, you’ll begin to break off that lie that their believing and then you will lead them into the truth and that they will agree with the truth, they will not agree with a lie. See we as Christians we as believers we empower, we can empower the enemy when we begin to believe in lies of the enemy we empower the enemy, we give him keys and access to our life. But we need to agree and believe in the truth, believe in what the Father has said over us and that we would begin to believe in the dreams and the desires that God has placed in our hearts. So that’s what I get them to do, I get them to break the lies and to begin to believe in what God is saying.
Sid: What do you and your Father do when you get discouraged and when you start feeling depressed because it’s taking forever. Hope deferred for what you think should be going on and you’re human, you’re like everyone and there’s times when you start feeling that way, what do you do?
Chad: Well I just set pillars in my life that help guide me through where I will write down every prophetic word. I’ll write down every dream and when I’m discouraged then I’ll read them over, I’ll just remind myself the prophetic destiny that’s on my life. And then I get people around me, I surround myself with people that I can be accountable to, that I can talk to that I can say, “Hey I’m not doing very good right now, I don’t think I am called to be a healing revivalist, I haven’t seen anybody healed in months.” And then they’ll begin to remind me of the testimonies they’ll begin to remind me of who I am and then they’ll begin to help me to redirect me into where I’m called to be. And that is so important and so you know people come to me all the time that say, “Hey, I’m in the wilderness season” and I look at them and I say, “That is amazing, I love the wilderness season.” Because if you study the prophets, you study the Old Testament those that were in the wilderness season, God is promoting you, He’s building something in you. He’s propelling you and promoting you to a place of authority that you’ll have breakthrough for a nation getting saved. I mean every time Isaiah went through the wilderness season, every time Esther went through the wilderness season, it was a platform. Joseph went through the wilderness season so that he could be the right hand guide of Pharaoh.
Sid: So you’re saying the devil can’t win no matter what angle he plays on you.
Chad: Oh yeah, God uses everything for good, “What the enemy meant for evil, God will use for good.” He wins with any hand; any hand that we’re dealt He wins.
Sid: Now, there have been time that you have literally it’s called translated in the Spirit where you might be going to a destination in a car that would take several hours and you find yourself there in minutes. Tell me about one occasion.
Chad: Yeah, it was my wife and I and my sister and we were driving from a big prayer gathering called “The Call” in San Francisco and we were leaving and it was late at night and I was the one that was driving. And so it was a four hour drive and I was on the highway and we were just leaving the city limits of San Francisco and suddenly we were translated, transported to the city limits of Red Bluff which is right outside Redding, California; and so it was a four hour drive and it took us forty-five minutes.
Sid: Well, with the gas prices that we’ve had in the past and will have in the future, I think more of us have to be driving that way rather than the normal way, driving supernaturally.
Chad: I agree that’s good frequent flyer miles as well if you get translated to different countries.
