Sid: My guest Jean Blasi, I’m speaking to her at her home in Arlington, Texas. God has been using Jean to equip believers to hear God’s voice, to move in all the gifts of the Spirit, and to be for lack of better words normal. We’re living a society where religion has said pay money, and the experts will do the job for you; if you want someone saved, bring him to the church. You want someone healed bring him to the church. You want someone to have a prophecy, bring him to the church. Well, my Bible says we’re to go out in the highways and the byways and bring them in, but I believe we’re to bring them in saved so then they can equipped. We’re not to bring them in to get them saved. Now my guest moves in such prophetic evangelism and believes everyone is equipped. Jean there can’t be anything more exciting than to hear God’s voice, be obedient and then see the fruit that occurs.
Jean: I couldn’t think of anything more exciting and fulfilling.
Sid: Give me an example of one time where you heard from God and it changed someone’s life.
Jean: Well, I was immediately thinking about a restaurant that I was in and the waitress that kept coming over to the table, and I finally just said to her, “May I say something to you?” And she said, “Yes.” And I said…
Sid: Now you say that in your book by the way, “You say when you walk up to someone you say “May I say something to you?” But many times when you say that you don’t even know what you’re going to say, this time you might have or did you?
Jean: I might and might not, it happens so much it’d be hard for me to remember which one, but I always and I think I might have said previously I’ve never had anyone ever tell me no. They feel respected, they feel worth something and they know God’s got His eye on them that He loves them and cares when we step out like this.
Sid: Okay, so you said, “May I say something to you,” they said “Yes.” Then what?
Jean: Yes, and I said, “Honey you’ve been having a lot of trouble with your husband and I said, “You don’t know the way, you don’t know what to do, and I would like to talk to you a little bit.” So first of all there was a word of knowledge, she knew that I knew that I was knowing something that I should not be knowing because I don’t know her, never seen her before in my life and it opened up her heart. And she let me begin to talk to her and I told her I said, “Honey, there’s no way you’re going to find your answer without Jesus and I’m not talking religion, I’m talking about Jesus; He love you He loves you, He cares.” And I went ahead and ministered that word to her and tears were flowing down her face and of course when it was over she had received Jesus into her heart. And I said, “Now the Lord is really leading me to pray to ask God to intervene that your husband is not going to leave, he will not leave.” And I really felt that power and authority in God from His heart, from His throne and prayed that with her. And it’s just like many stories, I’ll see them later and they’ll thank me what happened, and they didn’t leave and in fact they got saved and the home got healed. And so one word, that’s what I would like to encourage people you may not have a whole story if you have one word, I heard husband and then I started listening and it’s like and I knew that there was trouble in the home. And so I have this type of thing happen all the time. Flight attendants, I mean God will almost always have me walk up to them, and say something they know is straight from God, I wouldn’t know it.
Sid: Well, give me another example.
Jean: Well, one of the things this woman who had two sizes of shoes that were different. One day she had been watching me in this particular case and she wanted to know what I had and I told her. And so I prayed for her but she said, “Do you think” and I told her I said, “Jesus wants to heal you, I didn’t know what He wanted to heal her of or from.” And what it turned out was she had all her life had to buy two sizes of shoes, she had one foot full size larger than the other. Well I said, “Well, would you like Him to heal this?” And she said, “Well, yes would He do that?” And I said, “Yes, I said sit down.” So I just took her legs up and put her feet on my hands and I know you have to be familiar with this, but I said, “What size do you want.” “Well, what do you mean of course I want the smaller size,” and I said, “Jesus she wants a smaller size in her feet.” And right in front of our face the other foot shortened, and I saw probably fifteen years later and both of her feet were the same size, and she had been buying the same size shoes all the those years. Now I didn’t know her, but I felt the Lord wanted to heal her. Out of that healing came a relationship with Jesus Christ, she had tried being religious and she received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with a prayer language and she got her healing. And so it was an incredible time, I just spoke that word out to her.
Sid: Another thing that impresses me in reading your book “Prophetic Fishing” is you talk about practicing the presence of God how do you do that?
Jean: Well, inside instead of practicing everything you aren’t and everything inadequate and insecure and everything else instead of concentrating on yourself begin to, in your heart or in your spirit, it’s interchangeable at times if you want to say that. But just begin to get still inside and start listening and expecting the presence of God that lives in you ever since Jesus came into your heart, the presence of God that lives in you just get quiet and you will instantly if they do this right now, let’s just use this for a word right now. Just get still, don’t be thinking out of your head just get still and listen inside you and you will begin to feel the presence of God.
Sid: I heard a word, and the word that I heard was hip, and I believe someone is getting a new hip and someone with pain in the hip the pain is leaving in Jesus name.
Jean: That’s awesome, one of the things that I’m hearing is that there are many many peoples’ live that are going to take a dramatic change today and you’re life is going to take a whole turnaround and you’ll never be the same from today forward. And the Lord wants you just to grab hold of this because He’s doing the changing, but He wants you to grab hold of this. And I want to prophetically say to you “You will never be the same, you’re life is turning around today.” And I specifically see financial problems and needs that today is your day of salvation. Jesus even spoke that and that means, now is the time of the Lord, right now God is doing something in you and it’s going to make a turnaround in your finances. And He’s already told you that there is something He wants you to do for a job or make a living and He said, “You’ve been doubting it, now just step out and go ahead and do it and you will see there is fruit from it, you’ll see the results from it. And it so common to you that you don’t think that that can be God and that it’s just you. Well, the Lord is saying to you “Step out on it.”
Sid: One of the things that I notice in my notes is that God has given you a real vision or what’s about ready to happen to Jewish people and the worldwide evangelism that will occur, explain that.
Jean: Oh, I’m very excited about that. I just have to explain it the way that I know it is, and that that I think for the most part often the body of Christ is all excited about the harvest and we are were gearing up God’s been gearing us up for the harvest. But the great harvest includes the Jews and it isn’t going to be just like the body of Christ reaching lost people. It is the body of Christ, the Jews, and an incredible visitation from God that is going to come and there is going to be a great harvest and it does include both Jew and the believers, and those that are unsaved, that’s who God is going to go after. I for years have seen a supernatural visitation to the Jews from Jesus and they’re going to see Him know Him, and He is going to bring His presence, His power. He’s going to reveal Himself, and I don’t think that we’re very far off from this; I do think that we’re going to see some things that are going to kind of scatter the ideas of some believers that are going to happen. And today when I was praying before I knew that you was going to call I said, “Lord, I want a scripture” and it just came to me I’ve looked at this scripture a lot it’s in Revelation in the Church of Philadelphia, and it talks about those that say they are Jews but are synagogue of satan. And I tell you the true Jew God is getting ready to call forth in a big way and we’re going to see an awesome thing happen and it’s going to be supernatural.
Sid: Now you understand this because I saw in my notes, but most people don’t understand there is a spiritual DNA in physical Jewish people, and there is a spiritual DNA in Gentile Christians. And in the name of Jesus when the two come together it forms the One New Man where as Paul says the complete dwelling place for God. Now our time has slipped away.
