Sid: You know we take the United States of America for granted, we take our liberties for granted. And I’ll tell you something else, if I was God and which I’m not you should be grateful that I’m not. But if I was God judgment would have hit America long before now. What I watch on television going on before my very eyes the immorality that is being piped into our homes. Unbelievable, even what times that children are watching I see the New Age infiltrating, homosexuals and homosexuality infiltrating even the cartoons, when I see abortion at all time highs. When I see our country so divided on the basic moral issues, the very fabric of our nation. God has mush more mercy than I have, but I have Bishop John Gimenez on the phone he’s Bishop on the Rock Ministries Fellowship some 600 churches worldwide. And John I don’t understand God’s mercy as to how we’ve served so long as we have.
John: It’s beyond me Brother Sid it’s good to with you again. Why God, why God has been so merciful. I could only equate it to why He’s been so merciful to Israel.
Sid: But you know what I equate it because of something you said earlier this week. Because we have been one buffer between the devil and Israel. God has used the United States of America to be a friend for Israel. Look the whole world is turning against Israel. I happen to believe that that’s the last thread that if we ever turn our back on Israel as a nation we’ll be history.
John: There’s no doubt about it and Sid that’s what I meant because we are attached… not only are we attached in the heart and the caring but we are attached in the Bible. We are attached in the spiritual we are together. You can’t have the New Testament without the Old Testament, they are together we are grafted in.
Sid: I call it the One New Man. I believe the next great move of God’s Spirit is you’re going to see Jews have revelations of Jesus and be united with Christians and form that one new man; and release power like the world has ever seen. Now we’ve been talking doom and gloom because it looks that way to me. That if America does not repent we are going to be history as a nation. But I see something wonderful, I see a wonderful future for the United States of America. And I don’t think that it’s an accident that the date God selected October 22nd is actually 10 days before the next Presidential election.
John: Ten days before this nation says “We want the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Jesus, the Spirit of goodness, the Spirit of mercy, the Spirit of forgiveness and so forth and so on against the spirit of do anything you want. Curse anybody you want, kill your babies, marry anybody you want.” You know the scripture talks about not only the homosexual thing but it says this that “Man should not lie with man, woman with woman.” And nor with animals and we miss that. But the next step after the perversion with man with man and so forth; is with animals. And when…
Sid: Or how about even young children.
John: Oh boy.
Sid: They know what we’re talking about it’s happening before our eyes we see it. What is going to get us out of our apathy, what is going to cause the person that is listening to us on the radio right now, their driving their car and their saying “That’s good for Sid, I’m glad he’s going to be out there, that’s good for John, I’m glad that John’s going to be out there I’m glad that they’re families are going to be out there. But for me I’ll say a couple of prayers and watch TV that night.”
John: Well, I’ll tell you if there house was burning down they would do everything, they’d run there, they’d drop everything to go there to get the fire out. Our nation is on fire, I pity the pastor and the leaders who do not see this. What has to be done, do we have to have the churches close down, the whole religious system in this nation shutdown before they see what’s going on? I pity them.
Sid: What’s a pastor to do that’s listening to you right now, you tell him.
John: He should immediately see what’s going on. 1) Like the prodigal son he has to have a revelation of the condition. 2) We have to repent for our complacency. 3) We have to return to the righteousness and holiness of God. 4) God will restore, and 5) there will be a great revival. If we don’t then we’re going to see churches shutdown in this country. We’re going to see laws pass that will prohibit us from speaking anything that God says against any sin that someone is committing. And you’re going to see crosses and steeples come down because they offend somebody. We’re going to see an attack of Satan against the church as we’ve never seen before. But if we go and do what God says, if we gather together October 22nd…
Sid: Why is it so important to gather together?
John: Because that’s what God gave the people of Israel to do and His people to do. When there was danger the trumpet was sounded, the shofars were sounded. And the people gathered in the time of emergency and they were prepared to fight the battle. We’re going to Washington to fight a battle for the survival of our children and our children’s children and this nation. If we don’t then listen the blame will have to be put at the door of a church that has grown weary in well doing complacent, weak and without no spirit, and without no strength.
Sid: Now John, what I meant by the precious question was “What should a pastor do in reference to this holy assembly you’ve called for October 22nd a day of repentance and prayer and pleading with God to spare our nation at the National Mall in Washington, DC. Should he get a bus for his whole church to go out there? What do you recommending?
John: I would recommend that he would begin the process of getting the information and go to our .com www.AmericaforJesus.org rather. And then get the information, tell everybody our house nation is in trouble. And we as a Christian church must respond. Because we are the only ones that can put out this fire. And get the people together, it’s on a Friday and someone says “Well, I work on Friday.” Well, you house is on fire, we need to sacrifice. This is the sacrifice I don’t get paid, you don’t get paid, none of us get paid for this. This is our nation and we need to do like Mr. Kennedy said, President Kennedy, “Don’t ask your government what they can do for you find out what you can do for them.” We as Christians can save this nation. And Sid that is what it comes down to.
Sid: John after you had a marvelous encounter with the Lord you had a very supernatural experience. Tell me about that.
John: I was just born again, just accepted Christ and I was out praying up in the Mountain Dale area of Upstate New York where they had a rehabilitation and for drug addicts and so forth. And I was on my knees praying and all of a sudden I felt my spirit left my body and it was ascended up to the heavens. There Christ grabbed my hand and took almost from star to star and from world to world. And I saw the greatness of God. And God spoke to me even then that He would take me throughout the world and I would behold His glory. And you know Sid that’s exactly what’s happened in my life. I was…when I got up from my feet and I went back the people looked at me and they said “What happened to you, what happened to you?” I felt… now I understand as Moses, the glory, when you have an experience like that there’s a glory that comes upon you and makes you shine and radiate and there’s an energy that floods your being you know. Even my mother didn’t recognize me when she saw me the first time when I left that rehabilitation farm. She just began to scream, “My son, my son, my son!” And I’ll tell you it’s just (weeping) all that God has done Sid you can never say thank you enough…
Sid: But John all that God has done and all that God has invested in you is for right now for the event. You’re putting everything you know in it. I want you to talk to one person right now who isn’t sure they should come to the National Mall on October 22nd to repent and pray for this nation in Washington D.C.
John: If you know the Lord, if you know His goodness, and if you want to help save this nation, only you, only the church can do it. Staying at home is the easy way. We have to sacrifice God has given America so much. Please if you love the Lord, if you love your children, or your family or your church. Then please come, be one in a million, one in a million. You can say “Well, I’m only one.” Yes, but you can be the one in the million. And God will reveal His right hand of glory and mercy. I believe…
