STEVE: Let Jeri pray, okay? Yes? Remain standing just for a minute.
JERI: I remember when I met the Lord. And I had not been raised around the word of God. Didn’t know and didn’t understand anything in the word of God. And when I got saved and they started unfolding the word of God to me, I went, my eyes were opened to who He is and what His plan was and what He wanted from us. And that’s our heart’s desire is for people’s minds and hearts to be opened to the word of God and the Spirit of God.
To be transformed and that we can live for Him. We don’t have to stumble and fall and stumble and fall. We have to make a decision to put the Word of God into practice. And it transforms us. And His love has grown. I didn’t think I could fall more in love with Him. But you can every single day fall so in love with Him that you don’t want to do anything to hurt His heart. You want to please Him. You want to make Him happy. You want His, His presence there. And you want more of Him and for your light to shine. Somebody I know had a t-shirt on and they gave me one. I loved it. It says “You glow, girl.”
AUDIENCE: (LAUGHTER)
JERI: And that’s what we’re supposed to do. We’re supposed to glow. And so when you walk in and people go, “Well, what is it? What’s different? What have you got?” “Well, gosh, I got God, I got Jesus, I got the Holy Spirit,” you know? And when you’re excited about it you can’t keep it to yourself. You want to share it with everyone around you. And then whatever you’re facing, whatever you’re going through when you’ve got Him, the three in one, you’ve got Them. And then you’ve got the Word of God. It will carry you through whatever you’re going through. Whatever battle, whatever struggle it is. Whether it’s with your kids, with your husband, with your finances, whatever it is you stay close to Him. Amen.
