Sid: We want people healed of cancer and I don’t know of anyone I’d rather be praying for you than Tommy Combs. Now Tommy tell me about this women about 5 years ago that was sent home from the hospital with cancer of the stomach. Her whole stomach had been eaten through; you could see her intestines through her back; she smelled like death. Tell me about her.
Tommy: I got a call from a friend of mine that wanted me to go pray for this lady near Birmingham, Alabama that had cancer of the stomach. The stomach, as you had said, had been totally eaten up. The cancer had eaten out her back so that you could see her intestines; it was in her lymph nodes; it was into her hip area. They sent her home from UAB hospital, the cancer center at UAB. They said “Go and get with your family, prepare, no more chemo, no more radiation, nothing else we can do just prepare for your funeral and be with your loved ones for the next week or 10 days, at the most.” So I got the call to go to her home, and my wife and I went to her home to pray with her of this terrible disease called cancer. I’ve learned over the years that you have to speak to cancer, you have to speak to that terrible disease like I am speaking to you. Take authority over it, not in my name, or Sid Roth’s name, but in the name of Jesus Christ we take authority over cancer. So I sat down beside her and I asked her “What do you want do for God?” You see if you got something you want to do for God He’ll heal you. So I said “What do you want to do for God?” She said “I am 30 years old, I have 2 children one 8 and one 6. I teach Sunday school up at the Baptist church near here, and I want to continue to do that and be a wife to my husband and so forth.” So her mother and dad are there, they’re standing behind the couch, I’m knelt beside her, my wife is sitting on the couch with the lady. I look up at mom, her mother and I said “Do you believe God is going to heal your daughter right now?” She said “I don’t know.” That was her answer “I don’t know” that’s okay she didn’t know.
Sid: At least she was honest.
Tommy: At least she was honest. I reached up and touched mother on the side of the face and the Holy Spirit of God knocks momma to the floor. Momma’s gone, but non-belief is out of the room, but she was gone, she’s on the carpet. I look at daddy and daddy holds his hands up in the air and says “I believe.” Daddy is in total belief. My wife is with me now. The woman believes it, daddy believes it, so Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, we believe it all together. I cursed that cancer. See you’ve got to talk to cancer you’ve got to curse it and tell it to leave, and I did. I said “Cancer I take authority over you in the name of Jesus. You’ve got to go, you’ve got to leave her body I say the good cells will eat the cancer cells; her body will be totally restored in Jesus name.” Then I said this “Death you have no part here, you cannot have this woman. She’s got work to do for God. Death you must leave this room you cannot be part of this woman.” I laid my hands on her; I anointed her; I prayed for her. I said “You’re healed in the name of Jesus” she said “I receive it in the name of Jesus.” My wife and I went home. The next morning, that was on Thursday, the next morning she gets up she cooks breakfast for her husband and cleans her house. Saturday she works in her rose garden outside and helps her husband as they work in the garden. Sunday she goes to the Baptist church and teaches in her Sunday school class, her 3 and 4 year olds that she teaches in her Sunday school class. She hadn’t done that in over 3 ½ years. Monday she goes back to UAB Medical Center at Birmingham, Alabama, and they start flipping. They give her 4 CAT scans, 14 blood tests, 2 X-rays, and they say “Lady you don’t have any cancer. It is not even in your bloodstream, there is no residue even here. There is no mark on your body; your stomach is total restored.” The doctor says to her and wrote it on her report “God has healed you.” That’s the healing power of Jesus Christ.
Sid: Now how extensive did they test her body?
Tommy: They tested her with CAT scans, blood tests, X-rays. They gave her extensive testing for 2 days before they wrote their final report “You have a miracle of God you are totally healed.”
Sid: Tommy there are people listening and they are saying “That’s wonderful for her, but what about me?” There are people with cancer that are listening right now; there are people with all sorts of diseases. What about them?
Tommy: I want to pray for them right now. Lord I come to you right now in the name of Jesus Christ and I come against this terrible infirmity, this terrible disease of cancer, leukemia, lupus, any blood disease must go from your body in the name of Jesus Christ. Men say this is impossible, but with God ALL things are possible. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. If healed while He walked on this earth He’s healing now. So we speak against those diseases; we speak against them and say you are healed in the name of Jesus Christ. Receive your healing today. The Bible says “Whatsoever you desire when you pray BELIEVE IT.” So I’m asking this audience that is listening right now BELIEVE IT in the name of Jesus Christ and you shall have it. Do you desire to be healed? Then pray and ask God to heal you; ask God to do it for you, and then doubt not and you shall have it. I call it forth; I speak it forth right now in the name of Jesus. Cancer is leaving peoples bodies, lupus is leaving peoples bodies, leukemia is being healed right now in the name of Jesus Christ. Someone with bleeding behind the eyes is getting right now, I see it. Arthritis hands are being straightened out. They’re going to call you Sid Roth and they’re going to tell you “When I heard that pray on this radio program my hands went normal.” You’re get that call to verify the healing power of Jesus Christ. It’s happening even as I speak I see it happening.
Sid: You know I’m sensitive to anointing’s and there is a flow of God’s healing anointing. Tommy as you and I have discussed when God’s anointing flows the person that is saying “If he will just name my condition,” well Jesus paid the price for your condition, and when that anointing is there with the Word, and the Word says “By His stripes you were healed.” You can grab hold just as if Tommy had a Word of Knowledge for you because God is saying “Ears open.” God is saying “I have a Word of Knowledge for you I paid the price for your condition.” One of the things I’ve noticed Tommy there is something about moving. Something about demonstrating your faith, do something you couldn’t do before, and you’ll walk right into your anointing right into your healing. Tommy is God giving you anything more?
Tommy: Psalms 103:3 is a tremendous verse read it, study it, get it “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities and who healeth all thy diseases.” We’re talking about a package, Jesus Christ forgives, and Jesus Christ heals. He did it for you, He did it for me, He’ll do it for others right now as they listen to us right now throughout this nation and across the world.
Sid: Tommy tell me about the man that came to your meeting in Bolivia in a basket.
Tommy: This man was brought to our meeting in a basket; he could not walk; he had been crippled for 30-40 years. His sons brought him in a basket; his arms and legs hanging out of the basket, and his bottom sitting down in the basket. That’s how they brought him to the meeting in a basket. We came to him, what is it? He cannot walk; he’s been crippled for 30 years; we’ve tried to do it he lays on the bed all day long. We feed him; we cannot move; we have to bathe him; we have to tend to him. I said “What are you bringing him here for?” One of the sons says “We want God to heal him.” You see that’s the faith of that son right there “We want God to heal him.” We prayed for that man, we put oil upon his body representing the Holy Spirit of God flowing in this man’s body, and God healed him. He walked away from that meeting carrying his basket on his back. I’ve got that picture. It’s a picture of the man carry the basket away after 30 years of being crippled. In the name of Jesus Christ it’s happening now it’s flowing right out on the airways the healings happening.
Sid: You know Tommy there is power in the testimony. It’s almost as you’re sharing this that’s another wave of the healing anointing that is going out over the airwaves. Tommy tell me about… there was another case of a man who came in a homemade wheelchair in Peru.
Tommy: This young boy was coming to a homemade wheelchair; he was about 18-19 years old. They rolled him in a chair and they had just attached wheels to the chair, a homemade wheelchair. I looked at him and I said “What is this problem?” He had scales all over his body, all over his body. I said “What is this?” They had told me a witchdoctor had cursed him and made him drink this toxic poison, and he was dying from the inside out. His skin was like scales, but he was dying from the inside out. So we took some water, I said “Bring me some water.” They gave me some water, and took some anointing oil and I placed it in the water, I poured it in the water. I said “Here” and I helped him drink it. I said “In the name of Jesus Christ that terrible disease is leaving your body. You’re being healed from the inside out right now by the blood of Jesus Christ.” The next night he came back to the meeting and half the scales were gone. The next night he came back to the meeting, the third night he came back totally healed. He had baby skin all over his body totally set free, totally delivered and out of that homemade wheelchair. Jesus when He does it He does it the right way.
Sid: Ah Mishpochah the anointing of God is so wonderful. You get the Word and the presence of God, and faith, faith in the Word. You get those 3 together, trusting what God says, knowing what God says, the presence of God and you just walk into your anointing. It’s as normal as speaking.
