Sid: I have in the studio Juennine Fox she understands spiritual blindness, she saw miracles; she was so anointed by God; she came to God because of a great miracle; She saw so much; she had almost a cloud was over her thinking; she started dating a Muslim man and was even thinking about marrying him and going to Iraq. One night she just literally awoke from her slumber, the scales came off of her eyes and she realized what she had done and she began crying all night long, tell me about that night Juennine.
Juennine: I’ll never forget that night because that was the night Sid I made a total surrender of my life to Jesus when I realized that I had not really been obedient to Him; I had not really loved Him. I had really my agenda instead of His agenda the Spirit of God spoke to me and said “Juennine” and said “I never left you you departed from me, He said “I love you,” He said “Do you want your program or My program?” I said “Lord I want Your program.” I said “I’m willing to do whatever you tell me to do no matter how hard it is its worth serving You.” And I said some words that I believe will change the life of any person who speaks these words from their heart. And what I said was a real surrender and what I said “Wherever You send me I’ll go, whatever You tell me to do I’ll do; I will serve You all the days of my life.”
Sid: That sounds like a woman I read about in the Bible by the name of Ruth. Where ever you go I’ll go.
Juennine: Yes.
Sid: And when you made that total surrender God didn’t waste any time the next day you’re working at your desk and all of a sudden you got these flue type symptoms, tell me about that.
Juennine: God didn’t waste any time but he restored me to His heart; I felt His love and I knew I was restored to God I was happy I knew that I wanted to drop out of that computer programing school and get with it and see what God has for me. And the next day I’m sitting at my desk and I’m working and all of a sudden I hear the Lord speak to me “I’m going to show you my glory.” Now I didn’t understand what that meant I just heard His voice again, “Now I’m going to show you My glory.” And maybe within a few minutes my teeth start to shake I mean almost like gnashing like teeth jitter violently. Now that doesn’t sound like anything from God. And I don’t think it is and I begin to shake and have these flue like symptoms and I got so sick Sid. I said, So I bound the bound the devil and prayed for myself like I used to do, and I would usually get healed but this time it got worse. And I felt like I was going to die, I felt almost sharp pains in my stomach and I’m shaking violently my teeth are going you know gnashing together like this. My boss runs down and says “You look terrible, she says you need to go home don’t worry we’ll get a temp. And I said “Don’t worry I’ll be okay I’m going to try to make it home, I’m going to take some aspirin and go to bed. There must be some kind of a flu bug that hit me. I get on the train and I managed to get the 39th and 3rd Avenue. And I lived in a woman’s residence where they had women from the salvation army that were there for 24 hours it was a working woman’s residence and I walked in there and to my amazement I found people squirming all over the lobby they had their own emergency but something else was going on and I kind of whispered to one of the ladies with a little strength I had. She said “A lady’s died and she’s been dead for about 15to 20 minutes and the ambulance hasn’t come to get her yet and the major is telling everyone to stay away from the body on the 8th floor. They’re going to put a sheet over her. I asked who the lady was and she said I believe her name is Agnus and I said “Well I don’t know her.” And I just did what probably you would do I said in my heart “Well Lord I hope she was saved.”
Sid: Well, besides that I’m sick and I’ll just going to go to my room.
Juennine: What does that mean to me I mean, poor lady but I hope she was saved that’s all I can do. I get in the elevator I’m the only one in there and as the elevators going up I’m getting worse I’m leaning now on the wall with my head on the wall I’m praying I can make it to the 14th floor and I hear a voice speak to me on the way up. And it say Juennine go on the 8th floor and raise the lady from the dead, and I am paralyzed.
Sid: Now out of curiosity during this time that you were backslidden one of the symptoms was I stopped hearing God’s voice.
Juennine: Exactly for 6 months I stopped hearing God’s voice, for 6 months I dropped all my Christian fellowship. For 6 months I didn’t go to church anymore, for 6 months I never read my Bible, I mean I was backslidden beyond backslidden I just disappeared. And now all of a sudden I’m restored to God only as of a day before, that’s only by repentance you know and I know that I’m right with God. But now I hear a voice tell me to raise someone from the dead; can you imagine this. I haven’t been doing this for 6 months, praying, reading my Bible. I just asked Jesus back into my heart, I’d been dating some Muslim man. Now I’ve got a flu bug I can’t even pray that off me and a voice tells me to raise somebody from the dead not to mention that their dead!
Sid: (Laughing)
Juennine: And I say “Well this has to be the devil trying to embarrass me to make me be discouraged by me trying to raise somebody from the dead.” And I said “Get thee behind me satan” and I just ignore the voice. And the elevator keeps going up 11 peep, and then there’s no 12 as a matter of fact this elevator goes kaput, and it gets stuck in between the floors. I’m literally now stuck in the elevator and I’m saying “Oh no, this is not the time to be stuck in the elevator when I’m getting ready to die.”
Sid: You’re sick you think the devil is talking to you and now you’re stuck in the elevator. Okay what can happen next.
Juennine: Well, the only thing that can happen next is that you need a miracle and I say “Oh Lord not now,” I said “this is the worst time to get stuck in the elevator.” And the thing about this elevator it used to get these old woman stuck in there and it used to be an hour before they can crank them down. Nobody is going to be around to give me my last rights. And I say “What is going on here.” And I say “Jesus” and I hear this voice speak to me again and it says “Juennine I told you to go on the 8th floor and raise the lady from the dead.” And I realize oh, my goodness that’s Jesus talking to me and before you know it I could hear a clap almost like scissors break the chains on this elevator, I heard a snap and the elevator starts to fall to me like the speed of light down and down and it was so terrifying it was almost like being on a roller coaster on the most craziest ride on the drop being just going down 100 feet but very quickly. I could feel the pit of my stomach going “Oh,” as the gravity pulling me down and I realize that this elevator is going to go down it’s broken and I said “This is it and I’m just going to die it’s going to go below -1 and I’m going to crash, no one’s going to know I’m in here.” This is the worst that can happen and maybe it’s because I said “No” to God. I’m thinking “What am I going to do, I say “What do you do next?” Well, you think of your favorite James Bond movie, (Laughing) you look for a trap somewhere I couldn’t find any trap somewhere to get out. And I just said “Jesus!” I called on the name of Jesus and I said “Yes, I’ll pray for her just stop the elevator.” And when I said those words, I said it quickly I said “Yes, I’ll pray for her.” The elevator went bomb, I hit my head on the back of the wall, it was on the 8th floor where the dead lady was; it rushed me right to the 8th floor.
Sid: Okay, now you know it’s God you’re at the 8th floor supernaturally the door opens, what do you do?
Juennine: I’m paralyzed I couldn’t move, you know it’s like when you’re in a dream and you want to run and you can’t get your feet to go. I knew I needed to get out of that elevator, but I was just so stunned by all these events I realized, “Wait a minute, I don’t have anything to give to this lady, and I think that was the breakthrough realizing that in me I couldn’t do it “It’s Christ in me the hope of glory.” It’s because of obedience because he told me to do it, I said “Lord I can’t do this you have to do it. And when I said, “God I ask you to help me do this.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord and He started to pump the word of God into me, scripture started to come out almost like I could hear them audibly coming to my heart to my soul washing me from my unbelief, from my fear. Then I heard John 16 and Mark 16:15; you know “Lay hands on the sick and they shall recover” and “I am the resurrection and the life and whoever believes Me though they were dead so shall they live.” And “Whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die;” And “Raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, freely you have received freely give.” The word of God started to come to my heart and I started to realize wait a minute, you know something is happening in me and I am being infused with dunamis faith. I’m being infused with divine life so I’m being transformed here. I felt strength, every scripture spoke strength into my being almost as if I was being infused with energy power, power aid. You know getting my muscles strong and I was transformed in that elevator from being a fearful wimpy afraid girl to a great woman of God and I said “Where is she!”
Sid: (laughing) Okay so what happened next?
Juennine: So the Lord said “To the left.” I came out the elevator and I did walk to the left and there at the end of the hallway was this woman who was dead with two arms out on her backside, two legs spread apart. Three woman around her, like the story of Lazarus and they were all weeping. One lady was weeping uncontrollably it was her sister, and she was going “Awe, awe awe and I said, “Excuse me may I pray for her.” And her sister said “Please somebody do something, she’s my sister.”
