Sid: We’re getting ready Mishpochah to have an explosion to have an explosion of Holy Ghost compassion because Jesus is getting ready to return. And I tell you we’re about ready to take a step into the greatest revival, the greatest healing and miracle revival that will result in the greatest number of salvations in the history of planet earth. And I believe last week and this week are preparations for you. I have on the telephone, Michael Hinson who co-authored a book with Joan Hunter daughter of Charles and Frances Hunter, and both of them travel with the Hunters for many years and picked up their anointing, picked up much more because they have insights and healing from having witnessed so many healings. On yesterday’s show Michael said they’re beginning to see many multiple meetings where everyone is getting healed. Before we went on the air we were talking about something that I’ve noticed, and that is many Christians just because they’re Christians it doesn’t mean they’ve been set free from addictions such as cigarettes, alcoholism, drugs. You say “How can they be a Christian and not be set free?” And you know Michael there’s something else that I’ve just noticed when I find a Christian that loves God is born again, but smokes, I know that there’s something deeper beyond that smoking and they’ve got other problems in their life. I wonder if you would teach what God has shown you about these types of addictions.
Michael: Oh getting free of these addictions is so very easy.
Sid: Wait a second, there are people who are saying “Michael you don’t know I have stopped smoking and then I’ve started and I’ve stopped and it’s not easy.”
Michael: (Laughing) No it’s not easy if you try to do it on your own and you don’t deal with the root cause. Oh, quitting smoking cigarettes is the hardest things there is; they say nicotine is one of the most addictive drugs. Before we get into it let me explain this too, we’re going to be dealing with initial addictions there is a time when drugs become… when you become so addicted to drugs that now drugs is the problem and you have to get clean before we go to the step I’m about to tell you. There is a time when alcoholism becomes so dramatic that you literally need to deal with that. What I mean from that is get sober enough to take this next step’ get clean enough to take this next step. And this step is really easy; let’s start with people smoking and we can talk about alcohol and the other things because many people who have an addiction problem it doesn’t have any barrier lines it’s just cigarettes or just alcohol. They maybe dry from alcohol, but the addiction problem is still there. Although they may be dry from cigarettes, but the problem is still there. And all of them have a root of rebellion and we’ve after ministering after many, many years and watching this the root of rebellion is normally gets carried back all the age of accountability, or just went through puberty or shortly thereafter, and they picked up a cigarette and they said something like this “I don’t care what my mom and dad say” or “I don’t care what somebody else says or does I’m going to do it my own way.” Or they may have been expletives “I’m going to do it my own blankity blank way.” They pick the cigarette up in rebellion knowing it was wrong and generally said words that confirms that rebellion as they were picking it up. Generally this is something on their own even in rebellion to what their parents said, that they’re carrying it to the next step and they made a contagious decision in their heart to do this. When you come to the Lord and you don’t repent for that rebellion, and then you will be fighting many times the addictions that are there. Your spirit is renewed, totally renewed and your mind is being renewed and this is one of the areas where your thinking needs to change. We have found by just taking people back to those very first time they smoked and you know what is so amazing to us is that every time I mention the words that people said. We’ve had people that have been smoking for 40 years and they can remember the words that they said, they can’t remember what grade they were in, they can’t remember who their teachers were that year but they can remember the words they said. We’ve yet to meet anyone who couldn’t that was addicted to cigarettes or alcohol or drugs, that couldn’t remember those words. And what they did is we led them in a simple prayer and they were forever free. They could tangibly feel something leave them and they said the desire for the drugs and the alcohol it just left. We have testimony after testimony, after testimony that pour into the ministry of people that are absolutely free from addiction after a simple prayer. And the prayer is so easy; let me just read it to you.
Sid: Please.
Michael: This is for people that are listening and you can repeat this too, I’m going to say it one time and then I’m going to have you repeat it. The prayer is “Father I picked up that cigarette in rebellion and I’ve been fighting rebellion ever since and I said words to confirm it; Father I renounce that rebellion as sin in Jesus Name take it from me and put it on the cross. And Father the words I said, they were not from my heart I renounce those as well in Jesus Name. And I submit my life to You.” Now as simple as that prayer says, as simple as that prayer is we’ve yet to see somebody go back and continue to smoke, continue to do drugs if they’ve said this from their heart. And it’s very simple a general prayer. “Father

Michael: As simple as that is we’ve watched countless people and the people who’ve said that from their heart can literally feel lighter. You’re going to feel lighter for a reason because you’re not carrying something that used to be there. And people go “That is too easy.” In fact I just got an email yesterday or the day before yesterday from a woman who said “This was too easy, this guy is a nut.” But she went ahead and looked up the scriptures that I gave with it in the Psalms 107 and she repeated the prayer that I had just said here, and she wrote me back and she said “It’s been 3 weeks now and I am absolutely totally free” it is it that simple. The things of God are amazingly simple they’re not complicated they just require a repented heart, people that are willing to repent for their sins. And this is something that’s most unusual and we do this in the ministry. And the first time I did this in a church the air got sucked out or the room. We tell people to continue to smoke and let me explain to you why before we go any further. It is your free will at that point to put it down. The drive for it is gone, it’s gone completely and it has to be by your own will that you put that cigarette down and to this day we don’t have anybody that’s finished a pack, there are some people that finished smoked the rest of the pack, crumple the pack up and threw it away and hasn’t smoked. If somebody continues after they’ve said this from the heart we would like to hear from them because we want to know why; it is really that simple.
Sid: I don’t want to digress to far because everything that I read in your book is simple. What about someone that is a homosexual or a lesbian what type of results do you get with them?
Michael: Homosexual and lesbians are the exact same thing, they are actually rooted in idolatry as confirmed through Hebrews and when we lead people in prayer for idolatry homosexuality and actually going into the some line that there are certain kinds of perversions that fall in this same… fall in the exact same line. People that truly want to repent and get set free of it we lead them in a simple prayer to renounce idolatry. Again they tangibly feel something leave them they’re lighter they can feel that they’re free, they have to make the conscience decision at that point to change their lifestyle but it is not a struggle to do it it has just become a habit. And just like cigarettes, you’re used to smoking it, I mean you’re used to eating and so you pick up a cigarette the desire has gone for it, you just have to make the decision not to continue it. And it’s not a struggle the same way is true for homosexuality and for lesbian; there are other things with it and you really have to get the book to go through all of it just for the sake of time to get free from addictions and to get free from homosexuality there’s a few other steps we didn’t discuss here but they are discussed in the book. And it would take a little bit longer to do it and I don’t want to do an injustice to people that are listening.
Sid: Alright what about AIDS?
Michael: Oh, AIDS is easy and we have….
Sid: Oh come one you remind me of Kathryn Kuhlman she used to say “Arthritis it’s simple to get.” Doctors would walk up to her and say “We don’t have a cure for arthritis why do you keep saying it’s simple?”
Michael: (Laughing) it is because I’ve seen so many people healed from it; I’ve seen them healed; it’s again it’s in the book of how to do the basic prayers. But let me continue on with this book has the prayers of how we pray for people and have seen them freed over the last 30 years. Joan and I have been in ministry for over 50 years together and it’s a combined teaching of what we’ve learned in our lives over these years of how we’ve seen people freed. Also studied healing ministries for 25 years and I saw effective prayers where people got free from different diseases and different illnesses. And that’s what this book is full of, it’s how to get free of these things that’s “How to Heal the Whole Man Handbook.” How to get free of these things are in the book and it is so incredibly simple.
Sid: So why did you guys wait so long to have this book come out, it just came out?
Michael: Well, we’ve only been together for the last two years and you’re quite aware of how ministries schedules can get so compact. So we took every free moment that we had and started writing this down. It took us actually over a year just to get everything that we had written down. And then we had to shorten the book it’s only 300 pages, it’s 292 pages; we had to try to shorten it up so that you could read it. But we did break it out into the diseases. If you want to know about osteoarthritis, or about ear infections, or Parkinson’s disease, or anything even postpartum depression, seizures all of this Spina bifida, stroke, I’m just looking through the S’s right now there’s so many other things you can do. We talk about homosexuality or AIDS or hypertension, high blood pressure, all of those are in here; marital problems, even how to pray for a marital problems. All of those are in this book and we have seen such success with them.
Sid: Was there anything out of curiosity prophetic word or a dream or a vision in reference to this book.
Michael: Well, to put it that way there have been many prophetic words about the anointing that Joan has that her mom and dad had that it being doubled and there have been many prophetic words but not many. We have only had it out for about a month but there have been a couple about how it’s going to take off and for us to be prepared….
