Sid: Red hot is an understatement for my guest in the studio his name is Samuel Kanco. He’s from Ghana, Africa. He is a 4th generation witchdoctor and God did the most wonderful thing. He called him by name; He escorted him to an Assembly of God Church; He told him to go up; he got saved. But he had been so demonized, so filled with evil spirits if any man could be filled with evil spirits Samuel that was you and just because you were saved did not mean that all the evil spirits were gone. How long did it take you to get free of these evil spirits?
Samuel: It took about 2 years.
Sid: And probably took a lot longer because of the fact that people back then didn’t understand the deliverance ministry.
Samuel: That’s right; they didn’t understand so they were not practicing at all! So it was the Lord Himself who really worked on me and it took 2 years for everything to come out; wash me, peg me 2 years.
Sid: And you started speaking for the Full Gospel Businessman Group you told me.
Samuel: Yes, I also speak.
Sid: And there were many people that were set free, that were delivered, that were healed. Today you have a church of how many people?
Samuel: About 17,000.
Sid: Seventeen thousand people. How many people are you aware of that have been raised from the dead through your church?
Samuel: Now my church, at least about 6 that… the last one was about 2 years ago; he’s been dead for about 2 weeks.
Sid: Two weeks!
Samuel: Yes.
Sid: Tell me about him.
Samuel: Yes, I was away and this dear brother of ours died and then they put him in the mortuary; I told them don’t bother him because he is not dead; he can’t go he hasn’t finished what the Lord wanted him to do. The devil has just stolen him. So I come back; bring him back.
Sid: Now did you just do this by faith or did the Holy Spirit tell you.
Samuel: The Holy Spirit, I don’t do anything by faith; before I step into your shoe I’m convinced 100% that Holy Spirit is asking me to do. Because my background is so terrible that I don’t have to do anything. I must do it and seek the approval of the Holy Spirit. So….
Sid: So Jesus said “I only do what I see My heavenly Father doing.” That’s what you’re saying.
Samuel: That’s what I’m saying so I came back and we pull the guy and then one intercessor that there a white lady from America call Amerine; she’s in New York; she was there at that time. She saw it and put it in the internet for the whole world. (Laughing)
Sid: Wait, when this person where was this person after 2 weeks;
Samuel: This woman was in the mortuary.
Sid: This woman was in the mortuary.
Samuel: Yes, yes.
Sid: And so how did you… how long did you pray for her?
Samuel: Seven hours.
Sid: And when you prayed for her; why did it take 7 hours, why wasn’t she just instantly come back to life.
Samuel: After that I will leave it to Jesus because I don’t know why He waited for 7 hours; He has His own reasons, but after 7 hours she came back to life. Amerin was there she’s in New York now.
Sid: Now did this woman that came back to life that had been dead for 2 weeks did she say what she saw?
Samuel: No, she didn’t say anything; we asked her.. he’s a man, man.
Sid: Okay. A man.
Samuel: Yeah, yeah. So we asked him he didn’t know where he was.
Sid: Well that’s as big a miracle as anyone could have.
Samuel: No, no in Africa in my church it happens every day. The Bible tells us it happens every day; people getting crippled walking; people dead; people getting… it’s I would invite you one day…
Sid: I’d like to see that.
Samuel: It happens every day in our church so it’s not a strange thing.
Sid: Now one of the things that intrigues me is because of your ministry on the other side and now a ministry for the Lord when someone has a problem like a physical problem you know the name of the demon that is causing it.
Samuel: Hm, hm yes if someone has a problem I don’t just attack it because I’m a pastor; I attack it because I’m in that area that is my office. People make mistakes because they are pastors and they should lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So when they lay hands automatically what they expecting should come. But you don’t forget that God has placed each and everybody in his office. Now this is my office and by the grace of God no matter what the demon is; no matter what the problem is I’ll go back and seek the face of my Lord and when I come back you will be set free in Jesus name whether the demons like it or not. This is my office and this is what God has made me for and this is what I’m doing for His people.
Sid: Alright, why is it in Africa and India we see so many manifestations. People that are friends of mine American Evangelists they go to India; they go to Africa and they see people healed; they see people delivered; and then they speak in a pulpit in the United States and they don’t see anything.
Samuel: Yeah.
Sid: Why is that?
Samuel: Yeah Sid you have the 9/11 ambulances there; you have the best hospital; you have the best doctors. In Africa 5000 to 1; Five thousand people to 1 doctor 5000. No medicine, no money. So we have to have big… not compared we have been… you have to put your faith in Jesus to all that we have that’s Jesus. So if the man or the woman that walk for 2 or 3, 4 miles for that guy they will walk and he will come and when he comes he says “I’m not leaving until I am healed.” One good thing is that America you have government; in Africa we don’t have government and we have God. So it is it is two G’s; our “G” is greater than your “g.” So anybody coming to Africa and they start ministry and things begin to happen when one doctor when he was there it was awesome; Dr. Pat Holiday was invited.
Sid: I had on my show.
Samuel: Yeah.
Sid: Okay.
Samuel: It was awesome! I’ll tell you it was something else; and so we don’t have hospital; we don’t have doctors; we don’t have insurance; we don’t have government we have God.
Sid: I have a question for you; you’ve been in America for a while it’s a good life here, good food, good cars, good houses, air conditioning, heat, good jobs, no one goes hungry. Would you say that you and your people in Africa that have nothing are wealthier than the wealthiest people in America?
Samuel: One hundred percent! I mean you can’t compare what we have in Africa to anybody here, you can’t compare.
Sid: You have nothing compared to what we have.
Samuel: Yes, you can’t compare because when I come to America to visit you I’m coming to America because God says so, else I would not have traveled at all. The recent is that when I come to America I mean it’s in the midst of Sodom and Gomorrah. What I see, what I do not want to feed my eyes on but what I see and what I hear when I go to Africa I have to cleanse myself for about a month before I go to church.
Sid: Huh.
Samuel: I’m tell you else you be destroyed because what you see in America and what you hear in America is so polluted that if you want to maintain the level of anointing God has given you instead of walk in your shoe then when I go back to Africa I stay home, I stay in those for 1 month just for sanctification and purification. Make sure I take all of this system out of my heart and out of my eyes and out of my mind before I would come back to myself and start teaching.
Sid: But we are exporting as quickly as we can to Africa our brand of Christianity. Our Christian television you’re getting it in your home. What is your opinion of Christian television, America Christian Television?
Samuel: At times we love all of them, and we say “You can do this I Africa; you are dead by now.”
Sid: What do you mean you’re dead if you do this in Africa?
Samuel: You can’t divorce your wife today and tomorrow marry another woman; you are a dead man.
Sid: Why are you dead?
Samuel: The witches have open doors.
Sid: Awe.
Samuel: Windows!
Sid: So you’d have to be crazy to want to sin.
Samuel: Yes you want to be crazy, yes. There are certain things that they do here and walk away; you can’t do that in Africa. So even though the Christian television would be there but it won’t influence us because there is no way that you can be influenced by that and live; you are dead. So we are careful here.
Sid: If you could speak in the biggest most beautiful church in the United States; everyone looks good, smells good. Christians can’t have demons and they’re out by 12:00 noon because otherwise they’ll miss their lunch; what would you say to them?
Samuel: I think because the way that everything’s been structured in America the people haven’t got to the point that they need Jesus yet.
Sid: Will we get to that point in America? Do you prophetically see something happening, a change?
Samuel: Yeah, unless something happened, unless she out of evil good comes; unless something really happens to America they will stay where they are. Because see like I said…
Sid: So the greatest mercy God could have is to allow something horrible to happen; that would be mercy.
Samuel: That’s right but I saw even the 11th of September I saw something good coming out of it. I saw people interviewing TD Jakes and he was telling that you put the Bible out of his schools. I saw people interviewing a lot of pastors and they were telling them the reason why this is happening. So even some evil there was some good
Sid: But God uses everything for good.
Samuel: That’s right there was some good that was emerging and I think that the only thing that can shake rock the boat and let America get to where it ought to receive Jesus here and do what Jesus want them to do.
Sid: I just think that most salvation’s in America maybe phony?
Samuel: Yes, my standard, and the standard of Christianity, I think a lot of them America Christians have lost their salvation.
Sid: We’ll just stop right here we’re out of time. So many people are struggling with the invisible realm of demons and don’t even realize it 1/3 of Jesus’ ministry was casting out evil spirits….
