Sid: Let me tell you something when I read the scriptures there was a society that was so religious that they had to be shook at the core 2000 years ago in Israel. And Jesus came to earth and He walked as a man and where every He went people were healed. And when they were healed they literally the platform for being able to show the change between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant was established. One miracle grabs the attention of the crowd, I’m an evangelist at heart a true evangelist walks in signs and wonders, and I have tremendous miracles happen with I speak. But I’m concerned about the masses, I went recently to a Benny Hinn meeting and I saw tremendous miracles they were wheelchairs on the platform of people being healed. But I walked back in the back and I saw people that came with all of the faith they had, all of the money they had, all of the strength they had they were in the last point of living even; they were on oxygen, they were in wheelchairs and the majority of them went home the same way. Something is wrong we’ve got to get to the bottom of it and I’ve had almost like a vendetta against the devil and against sickness, and I want to get answers and I want to see more people healed. And recently as many of you know I had a childhood disease. This childhood disease was called Perthes Legg disease it was a deteriorated hip bone and the prognoses by the doctors were that at some point when the pain would get unbearable I’d need surgery. Well a friend of mine went to a seminar conducted by Henry Wright; his wife was miraculously healed and I’ve interviewed Henry so I know him. And I had already set up to have the surgery he said “Sid don’t have the surgery.” Great man of faith try some of the principals Henry has before the surgery but I had made up my mind I would was going to it I did it, it was successful it’s over everything is fine. But that is not plan A according to the scriptures that was Plan B. Plan A is that God had a new hip for me and I know it. And as a matter of fact I have to tell you where my faith is right now. My faith is that I don’t understand it, but I’m getting a new hip and I’ll know it when I go through security and the machine doesn’t go off. But I have on the telephone Henry Wright. Obviously you can’t tell me what would have happened if I had gone to your week long meetings however you can tell me what does happen have you ever seen miracles equivalent to what I was after happen in your meetings and if so tell me about them?
Henry: Well I have God has done some things at my hands that He wants to do with every believers hands in the name of Yeshua. But a couple coming to mind one happened a couple of years ago in a church in north Georgia on a Sunday morning service in which they brought to me a Jung lady who had fallen out of a tree when she was 9 and she was 14 now. Her arm was broken in 7 places and the growth plates on the upper part of her arm were so damaged that her arm had not gown in 5 years. So when you let her stand her one arm was longer, one arm was shorter when you put her hands straight up. It was obvious her fingertips touched the back palm of her palm. And she said told her mother that morning if Pastor Wright prays for me I believe God’s going to grow my arm out like the other one. Well in the Sunday morning service they asked me to minister in what’s called the gift of miracles which is one of the 9 gifts of the Holy Spirit found in 1st Corinthians 12. In fact in 1st Corinthians 12 verse 27 it says that “If God has set first in the church apostles, prophets and teachers and gifts of healings and workers of miracles, helps, governments and so on.” So here I am I’ve asked if somebody’s asked me to minister and ask God to do that. Well I hope you understand that this involves bone and tissue and everything that you can imagine and this girl was a very healthy girl. So that would include balanced amount of fat tissue, which is the opposite of liposuction by the way. So you wouldn’t want a thin arm over here and a nice robust over here. And in about a 5 minute period on that Sunday morning at a church in north Georgia God in the name of Yeshua grew that girl’s arm out and put bone in there and tissue and nerve and blood vessels and replaced 5 inches of missing bone and tissue within 5 minutes time. That’s kind of thing that I have seen and another things like it. I was in Alaska a few years ago and a service that lasted all night long, it started at 6:00 and got out at 6:00 in the morning. I felt like the Apostle Paul teaching all night. And at 4:00 in the morning a man came up and said “If you think that God would heal me?” I said “I don’t know it doesn’t hurt to ask.” He said “I want you to ask.” I said “What’s your problem?” He said, “My ankle was crushed in a industrial accident in Alaska pipeline and I had three inches of bone that I lost and it knit together but I had a built up shoe; do you think God would replace the 3 inches of bone that’s missing?” I said “We can always asked so in the gift of miracles I commanded those things that were not as if they were in the name of Yeshua.” And instantly he snapped and God put 3 inches of bone in his ankle. That’s just a few of the ones that I have witnessed what’s called creative miracles from brain tissue that’s been replaced to nerve tissue to bones. Yes Sid I have seen God do that in my generation in the name of Yeshua at my hand.
Sid: The thing that intrigues me more than what you’re sharing right now and that intrigues me but there’s something that intrigues me more; I’m on a search and that is what about the 99.9 at the miracle services that don’t get their miracle? That’s what I’m in search for right now and what intrigues me so much about your ministry is I believe that you have some keys that others for some reason don’t have. And one of the things is you have found that there are openings if you will specific openings for specific diseases. I’d like our Mishpochah to understand this a bit more let’s talk about something that is rampant right now, high blood pressure. Tell me about that disease.
Henry: Well again my position is only 80% of all disease has a spiritual root or what we call a door point. The two things I just mentioned in creative miracles were not because of door points they were because of accidents.
Sid: Hm.
Henry: However getting back to high blood pressure before I got to high blood pressure I want to make a statement and to kind of tell you why people walk out of healing services as sick as they walked in. If 80% of all incurable disease is a result of not being a doer of the word in some part of our life historically or generationally…
Sid: In other words you’re saying that if we’re not walking in righteousness or we have an ancestor that didn’t that was a doorway to a specific disease.
Henry: Absolutely and what’s happening in healing is that we’re asking God to heal us of our diseases but let us keep the spiritual defect in our lives of which the disease is the product of. We’re actually asking God to become codependent with us in our sins. And we’re asking God to heal us in the name of love.
Sid: Now I can see God healing a nonbeliever for the sake of proclaiming the gospel but once someone’s a believer are you saying that there’s a degree of accountability?
Henry: There is a degree accountability for every man and woman whether they’re a believer or not a believer. “Do we sin more that grace might more abound? God forbid.” The scriptures are very clear that there’s a consequence for participation with sin whether you’re a believer of nonbeliever. The cross made it possible for us to be free and what Christ paid for us in His obedience, Paul very clearly taught us that in disobedience we might negate that until we might get back into a place of repentance and conversion in our own lives. So from this standpoint what we’ve asked God to do is heal us. But if God healed us of a disease that was a byproduct of bad spirituality in our life then two things would happen. First of all we wouldn’t keep our healing because it would grow that thing back again…
Sid: I’ve often wondered why many people like their under a strong anointing like say Kathryn Kuhlman service and they were actually healed many of them and they walked out the door and the symptoms come back. Oh, I’ve always been told that the demon causing the disease lifted off because of the anointing but then when you walk out you don’t have that anointing and it comes right back. But what you’re saying is there was a doorway for it to come back.
Henry: Well that’s possible what you’re saying first time is also correct because we can look at King Saul and his insanity when David came and played the anointed music Saul wasn’t converted the evil spirit of insanity just departed because of the anointing.
Sid: Hm.
Henry: However if disease is a byproduct of our spirituality which would be not good spirituality then it would come right back and God would get the blame. But the biggest issue is this, if God healed us of all of our diseases but let us keep the spiritual defect He would be establishing evil in the earth through us in the name of love and that’s not what He’s called us to do He’s called us out of darkness not to establish more of the same. And let’s give you an example of you can interrupt me anytime you want but…
Sid: Well I want to hear about the high blood pressure I want you to give me an example using that particular disease.
Henry: Let’s take high blood pressure which is a plague even in believer’s lives. High blood pressure is considered hypertension by the medical community to be a stress disorder. What kind of stress disorder? Well we’ve discovered the type of stress, or fear, or anxiety, behind high blood pressure and the biological mechanisms that cause it coming out of what we call the mind body connection. And in this case we’re talking about the spirit, soul, or mind body connection it’s found in 1st Thessalonians 5:23 that “We’re to be sanctified spirit, soul and body so that we can be made whole.” Now in the case of high blood pressure the scripture that we’ve seen and we use in understanding people and I give this scripture “Take no thought for tomorrow the evil of today is sufficient unto itself.” Another way of it being quoted is “Take no thought for tomorrow for tomorrow may never come.” In our case histories of looking at people with high blood pressure we find that these are people that are taking thought for tomorrow, they’re into worry, their into morbidity and pre-morbidity, and they are stewing in their stuff about what could go wrong about finance and health and family. But the word of God says “Take no thought for tomorrow.”
