By the operation of the Holy Spirit, you’re going to literally step into a realm of opportunity that is so waiting for you, so inviting you by the Holy Spirit, of signs, wonders and miracles and you’re going to discover again, it’s not hard. You serve a miracle working God. Something happened to me, gosh this was a long time ago because my son now is twenty years old. But when he was four years old, a very interesting thing happened. He had a favorite little toy; it was a plastic squirt gun. He got it for a party favor; a birthday party type thing. It’s amazing, you can spend a hundred dollars on a brand new bike for your child and they play with the box. Amen. Well in this case, he had all of these birthday gifts but he enjoyed playing with this one little party favor. It was a squirt gun. A little plastic gun. He was only four years old, but he would stick this little plastic gun in his belt, in his elastic pants, in his pajamas. He would walk around like Mr. Cool. He was so proud of that little toy gun. He couldn’t say his “G’s”, so he would say “Dad, I got my dun…I got my dun Dad”. Oh, I’m telling you, it was his absolute favorite toy. And one day coming home from the office, he was standing in the garage as I’m pulling up in the car and he’s got a big ear to ear smile…Dad’s home. And anyway, as I got closer to him, his eyes got kind of big and the smile turned into a frown and he started to whimper. Literally, I mean tears coming down his cheek. And I thought, “Oh no, what happened?” And when I got out of the car and I looked down to see what he was looking at, I had drove over his dun. I drove over his favorite toy. It was totally pulverized. The Bible says the anointing destroys the yoke. Sometimes people say the anointing breaks the yolk, but in the Hebrew, that word destroy means to annihilate, it means to pulverize. And in this case, it wasn’t the anointing that did it, it was Dad. Dad pulverized the toy. All you could recognize is a little spring where it held the trigger; it was pulverized. But he, in innocent child like faith… and this is so important as we dig into the study of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I know you are anxious per se in a Godly way, to understand miracles and healing and the gifts faith and the operation of words of wisdom and all of the miraculous operations that we commonly refer to as the gifts of the Spirit. Which there’s nine there, but we are going to look at the reality of, really there’s twenty-one gifts of the Spirit. Now in the study we are going to focus on nine of those. But what we’re going to see, although God works through anybody…
