JERAME: Because how many of you know signs point to someone? Right? They point to a direction? Like you know I’m from California. I live in San Diego. And so if I want to go to the beach how many of you know I would be a fool to go to the sign that points to the beach, to get my towel out, lay it out, you know get some suntan lotion and lay down next to the highway, next to the sign. Right? The sign is not where you camp. The sign is pointing you towards a place that God wants you to go! And so I said to the Lord I said God, what is this fragrance of God thing all about? And He said Song of Solomon, chapter 1. And that says this. It says: Kiss me with the kisses of your mouth for your love is better than wine. But then it says this. It says the anointing oil of the Lord is fragrant. And the name of the Lord is like perfume being poured out! And so the Lord spoke to me and He said
JERAME, in your generation I am about to pour Myself out into vessels that are open, hearts that are hungry. And He said what you’ve been experiencing for the last 100 nights is Me pouring Myself out into you and upon you because I’m raising up a victorious generation who the devil won’t be able to stop!
AUDIENCE: Amen!
JERAME: And so the Lord at that point begin to speak to me and He said this. He said: I want the Church to begin to discover the power of intimacy with the Holy Ghost. And so the Lord begin to speak to me about the presence of God that dwells upon and the Person that is within. See there’s a big difference! We got to understand the two. Some people they just receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and that’s it. You know they speak in tongues and they never ever get into the glory of God. They never get into the manifest presence of God. Spending time with Him to the point where He rubs off on them and then they begin to carry an anointing! And so there’s a big difference between the Person of the Holy Spirit on the inside and the anointing of God that rests on the outside!
AUDIENCE: Amen!
JERAME: And so the Lord told me He said I want you to teach the difference. Jesus said in John 14, He said this. He said the Holy Spirit will dwell within you and He’ll be upon you. You know 1st John 2:20 He says: As for you, you know all things because of the anointing that’s on your life. How many of you know that the term anointing is different from the term that Jesus said? Jesus said I will send Him to you, talking about the Holy Spirit. Now listen! Why do we need the Holy Spirit? Because the Holy Spirit will not speak on His own accord. The Bible tells us that He’ll speak only that which the Father speaks. It says that He’ll convict the world of their sin and He’ll prove Jesus and His power to the world around so that people will get saved! First Corinthians the 2nd chapter. It says: I come not with eloquence of speech or superior wisdom but with a demonstration of the Holy Ghost and power that your faith might not rely on a man but in God. And I read that and I went Yes, Lord! We need more power! And He said wrong answer!
