SANDRA: “Tell your mother there is no sickness.” And she’s in a coma and I’m sitting on the bed telling her this. My sister was with me. We spoke it over and over to somebody who could not even respond. Could not even respond. I kept saying “There’s no sickness in heaven!” “There’s no sickness in heaven!” “There’s no sickness in heaven!” “There’s no sickness!” And just kept saying it and kept saying it. After a while, she finally came to! Glory to God! And to make a long story short I really wanted to do something scriptural. I didn’t know anything about doing anything scriptural. I was, you know, a good Baptist girl. I wanted to anoint her with oil, you know, because I read it somewhere but I didn’t know where it was in the Bible. And in her house, she didn’t have any oil but she had a can of Crisco!
AUDIENCE: [Laughter]
SANDRA: Lard! Crisco! Not oil. I greased her up like a hog!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing and clapping]
SANDRA: Sincerely! I talked my sister into it. I had just gotten her born-again about 2 weeks so I was the leader of the gang! And she said where do you put it? I said well I don’t know. I said well let’s put some here. Well, I don’t know. We’ll put some here. Then you know she kept saying well maybe you ought to put it – honey we greased everything we could see!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing]
SANDRA: We had greased her up so much! You remember she used to have a half coma. Half coma. We had greased her up so we couldn’t even hold her in the chair!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing]
SANDRA: She started sliding out!
AUDIENCE: [Laughing]
SANDRA: But she jumped out of that chair totally and completely healed!
AUDIENCE: [Shouting and clapping]
SANDRA: And lived for 28 years and never had that cancer again! Never came back!
AUDIENCE: Amen!
SANDRA: And they gave her less than 24 hours to live. Less than 24 hours to live. And I said one simple thing to her. “Momma, did Jesus tell you that you were going to die?” “No. But maybe He’s going to get some glory out of it!” I said, “Well if He’s going to get some glory out of it, let’s throw all this medicine in the trash can!” I went and got all her medicine and threw it in the trash can! That was enough to shake her up right there! Except she was in a coma, you know, semi-coma. Threw it all in the trash can. So I’m saying to you, you know if you don’t believe in healing, you don’t believe Jesus can do it why are you going to healing meetings?
AUDIENCE: Amen!
SANDRA: That doesn’t make any sense. None at all! But I’m telling you she came up. She never – on her chart, her chart it says “miracle” written across it to this day still. Miracle!
AUDIENCE: [Shouting and clapping]
SANDRA: God will do anything! He just loves ya! God’s in love with you! He is absolutely in love with you! He wants you to be the rose in His garden! He wants everybody everywhere to see what He’s done in your life! So somebody, when you get to heaven you say “Hey! Look behind me! Look who’s coming back here!” You can’t take all that with you! Money with you. You can’t take your houses with you! Your cars with you. But you can sure bring somebody with you though! Hallelujah!
