Sid: The man that I can’t think of anyone I’d rather be interviewing right now then my guest, Surprise Sithole. He’s from South Africa; he is a pastor to thousands of pastors in the Mozambique area and other others. And he walks the way the Bible says is normal. Anything short of this is deficient, it’s not walking up to the potential God has in you. And he says that whatever he can do, you can do too. And as a matter of fact he has prayed for eight people that were dead that have come back to life. And in the ministry he’s part of, the Heidi Rowland Baker Ministry, in Mozambique they’ve seen over a hundred people that were dead come back to life. Surprise, tell me about one person that was dead and came back to life. Especially if they saw anything while they were dead.
Surprise: Oh, one person saw this one man actually that saw something and this name his name is Anomie. Well, this man I saw him on a vision, not a vision it was a dream. One night I had a dream and in the dream I saw a bunch of people there that they were going to bury somebody and then I run to the people and ask the people, “Can I see the person?” And they open the casket, I saw the person and what I saw was almost like the person had so much joy, but he didn’t laugh. And then I said, this person is not dead and everyone was surprised.
Sid: How long had the person been dead?
Surprise: Okay, no, no, no. I started saying, because it had been in the dream.
Sid: Okay, in the dream, okay, I follow, okay.
Surprise: Yeah, and then after that I prayed and that person rose from the dead, was in the dream. The following day Seymour and another man came to me and said, he was going to a funeral somebody died and then that day was the day that we are going to bury him. I said, okay I don’t have anything to do let us go together. Now this is not a dream anymore; it is the second day. We went there, we found the people there just finishing up making coffin and then when they’re finishing outside we went straight inside. And this person has been dead for three days. And then they are burying this person, we went inside we asked the people if we can see that person. They say of course, they called one another, they came, they opened the face of this person. As soon as I saw the face of the person, I realized that it was the same face as last night in my dream; and then I was filled with joy. I began to pray, and then while I was praying the man shouted with a loud voice, and then he rose from the dead. Well, there was like a lot of things that was happening that day, because when he shouted it was almost like he went to the toilet at the same time. And the room was smelling all kinds of that dead smell.
Sid: Awe. Oh you went to the toilet.
Surprise: Oh yeah, it was that man that did he went to the toilet at the same time that he was rising. It was like a big chute, boom!
Sid: Ha-ha-ha.
Surprise: But he was not embarrassed anyway.
Sid: I’m sure, he was dead and now he’s alive. Did he have any experience that he knew about when he was dead?
Surprise: But, in his experience after we cleaned him up and everything, Ha-ha-ha . Ha-ha-ha.
Sid: I have some radio stations that I wonder what they’re thinking Surprise, but go ahead, what did he say to you?
Surprise: He said that he was fighting with the dark forces which he couldn’t see their faces; so the dark forces was pulling him to a place where it was so hot, but he was getting powerless, and powerless and powerless. So he didn’t think that it was a long time, what he thought was sleeping was during his dream. And then this was what happened, a very bright shining light started shining very fast and then the dark forces disappeared and he rose from the dead.
Sid: Now the other people where he was buried, how did they react when he came back to life? Were any family members there?
Surprise: Oh, yes his age was towards eighty and then his wife was there as well, and then other people, but the people was so shocked! Everyone was shocked!
Sid: Well, you know I was going to ask you some simple little question and then all of a sudden we got on resurrection from the dead. I was just going to ask you how you met your wife.
Surprise: Oh, well that is a new and other story. Ha-ha-ha-ha. Okay my wife, how I met my wife? I will just speak it in a very simple way. I had a prayer asking God for a wife. God for two times gave me a picture on a vision; the picture was big like a chalk board, big board with two colors, pink and blue. And then one day when we were praying, fasting and praying, one man walked up to me, his name is Hart. He said to me, my wife, her name will be Tryphena which is not a common name.
Sid: So you had this prophecy, you knew that she would be dressed in pink and blue and a prophecy of her name, then what happened?
Surprise: Yes. And then what happened is that after a few years later and then I was in this house of my sister-daughter and I was there and we were talking a good time. This girl was coming from school wearing pink and blue and then I asked her to come close to me and I asked her to become my wife.
Sid: Well, how’d she react to that?
Surprise: Well, she was shocked in the same day.
Sid: I’m sure that she was shocked.
Surprise: And I didn’t ask what was her name. That was Thursday, shocked and went home. On Friday I went to the same spot and waiting the same time until she came, and then I asked her what was her name? She said Tryphena and then we go from there.
Sid: And today, your married and now, those that say it’s a coincidence, tell me how he knew her name, he knew how she would be dressed, and you have three sons, Enoch,…
Surprise: Four sons now.
Sid: Four sons, what are their names?
Surprise: Enoch, Love, Israel, Blessing.
Sid: Now, tell me about your wife. Does she move in gifts of the Spirit like you do?
Surprise: Just last week, my wife went to a clinic with Blessing, because Blessing is three months old, went to the clinic to get some shot. When your baby you have to get some shots and then when she was there she met a young girl the age fourteen – fifteen and she never spoke and never hear anything, she’s deaf and dumb. My wife prayed for her, her sister was there, my wife prayed for this girl and then after that she finished and as they were going home, the voice came back, the girl was speaking, and the girl was hearing and then they called us to go to see they’re home.
Sid: So you’re wife moves in these gifts, how about your children? How old is the oldest?
Surprise: The oldest is fourteen, he leads worship.
Sid: And what’s his name?
Surprise: His name is Enoch.
Sid: Enoch, in the Bible walked with God, does your Enoch walk with God?
Surprise: Yes. The second one he’s moving so strongly with prophetic.
Sid: Well, I’m going to be doing a television show with Surprise, I’m looking forward to it, are you coming by yourself or do you have any family members that are going to come to the TV Shoot?
Surprise: Oh, I’m coming myself, yes.
